Aqua Map Italy fishing charts
The entire coastline of Italy is covered by nautical charts sourced from the official publications of the IIM (Hydrographic Institute - Italian Navy), which also includes Corsica from the SHOM (French Hydrographic Institute). These charts provide depths, spot soundings, navigational aids, port plans, and all necessary information for safe navigation, along with detailed on-land information such as roads, points of interest (POIs), trails, and more.
These Fishing charts, additional to the official Nautical charts, offer valuable information for fishing, not only from the boat but also from the shore and for spearfishing, with hundreds of fishing information points and areas.
- Fishing points and areas include information on types of fish, fishing techniques, types of bait (where available), as well as special instructions and restrictions.
- The data also cover points and areas with special regulations related to fishing, such as Marine Protected Areas.
- The charts provide general information not typically found on nautical charts, including names of shoals and locations.
- You'll find the locations of all Italian Coast Guard offices, including Districts, Captaincies, Local Offices, and Beach Delegations, along with their addresses and telephone numbers.
- The charts also indicate the locations of fishing equipment stores along the coasts, complete with their addresses and phone numbers.
- Bathymetric lines are displayed at intervals of 1 meter to 50 meters, 5 meters to 200 meters, and 10 meters to the maximum depth. These lines are complemented by realistic coloring of the depth areas, with darker shades representing deeper waters. This detailed bathymetry makes it easy to identify sudden changes in depth, essential for identifying the best fishing areas.
Full coverage of all marine regions in Italy, including the upper Adriatic.

StrikeLines HardBottomHD
StrikeLines™ HardBottomHD charts offer the most extensive mapping of fish habitat in the Florida Gulf side, featuring over a dozen categories of natural and artificial reefs labeled and color-coded by type:
• Low natural: Natural hardbottom features with minimal vertical relief. Examples include cracked or fractured limestone and Swiss cheese bottom.
• Big natural: Natural hardbottom features with significant vertical relief, such as boulders, rockpiles, ledges, and escarpments.
• Artificials: Man-made reef structures, including wrecks, reef modules, and construction materials.
• Spring/Sinks/Potholes: Naturally formed holes in the seafloor created by underground water flow and erosion. Springs typically have freshwater outflow, while sinks usually do not. Potholes are small depressions in the seafloor often formed by surface erosion or fish activity.
With these charts, you'll never have to guess if you're in the right spot. Simply navigate your boat to one of our marked hardbottom areas and drop a line. Coverage is extensive, spanning more than 130,000 marked hardbottom areas and artificial reefs from the Florida Panhandle to the Florida Keys. Many of these spots have never been published before.
These charts are produced by StrikeLines™ Tampa LLC and distributed through Aqua Map.
